Mother's
Angels was set up by Rachel Helyer, a primary school teacher,
in 2007 following the birth of her second child.
She discovered quickly that second-time-round experience did
not necessarily make this wonderful yet difficult time any easier!
Because of her experience, she decided that what she would have
liked more than anything was a service that simply did not exist
in the local area. Someone understanding to come in and intuitively
know what needed to be done around the house; a friendly face,
a cup of tea, a little tidying up, a bit of ironing. Someone
to help take the pressure off the attempts at being Supermum.
Mother's Angels has been set-up to offer a unique opportunity
to new parents - the time to bond and enjoy the precious early
weeks and months following birth without feeling stressed, guilty
or shattered.
